Transfer Round-Up of 5th July: Another day at the transfer window with new dealing and rumors, here are the top stories from the market.

#1 Roma Planning for Gonzalo Higuain

According to sources, Roma is planning to put in a bid of £8.1m for the Juventus forward. Higuain seems to be an outcast at Juventus and he is not a part of the club’s long term plans.

Roma is in pursuit of rebuilding the squad after missing out on a Champions League spot and are keen to get the Argentine goal poacher into the mix.

#2 Samir Nasri to Reunite with Kompany

The Belgium club Anderlecht has been in advance talks with Samir Nasri for a free transfer. If the deal goes through, the new manager Vincent Kompany will reunite with his former Manchester City teammate.

Kompany is aware of Nasri’s potential and he came with West Ham would have given the Belgian more confidence. The 32-year-old has been in the red hot form wherein he scored 5 goals in 8 games for Antalyaspor before heading back to Premier League to play with West Ham.

#3 Arsenal in Line for Lucas Vasquez

If reports are true, Arsenal is in talks with the La Liga side Real Madrid to get a deal through for Lucas Vasquez. Arsenal is in search of a creative spark and have turned their eyes towards Lucas after the deal for Zaha couldn’t get through.

Arsenal is in a desperate situation and have asked for more transfer funds from the owners to get the deals through.
The deal for Lucas will not be easy given the interests of clubs like Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and PSG.

#4 Axel Tuanzebe Signs Contract Extension with Red Devils

The English defender Axel Tuanzebe has signed a new deal with Manchester United up to 2022. Axel made his debut for the Red Devils in January 2017 against Wigan. He spent his last season at Aston Villa on loan. “I have grown up at Manchester United and it has always been a big part of my life and my family’s life.
I appreciate the trust that the club has in me and I want to repay that with my performances on the pitch.
I know I have a lot of hard work and learning ahead of me but the experience I gained throughout last season puts me in good stead for the future ahead. I am determined to give everything and show everyone the player that I can be. I can’t wait for the tour to get started and see what the upcoming season brings.

#5 Milan Eyeing Ruban Neves

AC Milan is on the hunt for Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves. The sources report that the Serie A side is willing to pay upto £40.3m in a player-plus-cash offer.

Neves joined Wolves from Porto in 2017 and had a magnificent season with them. He played a key role in the club’s spectacular season.

However, Milan’s ban from European football may discourage from Neves from making a move given Wolves have a Europa League spot.

#6 New Deal for Andreas Pereira

Manchester United have signed a new deal with the midfielder Andreas Pereira, which will keep him at Old Trafford till 2023. Pereira had a good end to the season and was one of the stands out players for the struggling Red Devils.
Andreas has been with United with 2011 when he joined the academy. He has made just 35 appearances.
