Tottenham’s New Signing Hoping to emulate Cristiano Ronaldo

Tottenham Hotspur has signed Gedson Fernandes from Portuguese powerhouse Benfica on 18 months loan terms.

The midfield maestro only made his debut for the Portuguese champion last season but has impressed during his 53 games for the club.

Spurs will be hoping Fernandes can follow the same career trajectory of fellow Benfica graduate Joao Felix who signed for Atletico Madrid for $142 million last year.
