Top 5 Flop Players of Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL

For Sunrisers Hyderabad this season has been nothing less than a nightmare. They have given one of there worst performances ever. After playing 12 matches till now, they have won only 4 matches. That makes them second from the bottom in the table,just above DC. There is no way they’ll be able to make it to the knockout stage.

Harry Brook

There is no doubt that, Harry Brook has been a promising cricketer for England, and that is the reason he got selected for the IPL 2023. But, he has disappointed the team with his batting average of only 20.38 in the 9 matches he has played till now. Even though he scored a century, but only one good knock has not been enough for his team.

Washington Sundar

As an all rounder there was a lot of expectations from Washington Sundar. But he was really not able to fullfill it, either through bat or ball. In the IPL 2023 till now, he has played with the batting average of only 15. Even in bowling he disappointed by taking only 3 wickets.

Mayank Agarwal

Expectations were a lot from the Mayank Agarwal, because of the talent he possess. He was even one of the most expensive Indian players in the IPL 2022. However, he has dissapointed his team due to the lack of consistency. In the 9 matches he has played in the the IPL 2023, he has scored with the average of only 20.78.

Rahul Tripathi

Rahul Tripathi was bought for 8.5 crore. However, he has certainly not been that much effective. He has certainly played couple of good knocks for the team, but he was not at all consistent with his performance. He has only scored 258 runs in the 12 matches he has played for the SRH.

Umran Malik

Umran Malik clocked 150kmph, but at the end wickets are a much better contribution a bowler can make, to make his team win. In IPL 2023, Umran Malik has only taken five wickets in seven matches he has played till now. His economy has been disastrous, that is 10.35. This certainly makes him very expensive for the team.

So, now you’re aware about the players who were a disappointment for the SRH, even though a lot of money was spent on them. That means money cannot buy victory.
