Pawan Negi

Top 3 Forgotten Stars of CSK in the history of IPL

The Indian Premier League is the most renowned league in the world. When no other league was known in 2008, the Board of Control for Cricket in India [BCCI] created one. Millions of fans watch and adore the lucrative league today, both domestically and abroad. The Indian Premier League’s current season included a total of 10 franchises. Each squad includes a few standout players that provide the team with great performances and help the team succeed but not all players garner that kind of respect and attention. Following are the three players who once were the spine of Chennai Super King but are now ignored by the franchise.

1. Dwayne Smith

West Indian explosive batter and right arm medium pace bowler Dwayne Smith has lost his place in the Indian Premier League for his franchise CSK. Smith had performed really well while playing for the Chennai Super King. He had his best form in 2014 and 2015. The right-hand batter opened with Brendon McCullum to give his franchise an explosive start. The player has been in constant ignorance of the franchise.

2. Pawan Negi

One of the most expensive players in the history of the Indian Premier League, went unsold this year. Pawan Negi is a star left-arm orthodox spinner. Negi is counted among the finest T-20 spinners. Negi had a good performance while playing for the CSK. However, the spinner is witnessing a downfall in his career as he has been snubbed by the franchise.

3. Ishwar Pandey

Ishwar Pandey who hails from Madhya Pradesh was one of the most expensive bowlers bought by Chennai Super King. The tall right-arm pacer has been in constant ignorance of the franchise. Pandey was one of the finest bowlers for Chennai who bowled with a good pace with swing. Pandey has been out of the league for a long time. CSK’s owner showed no mercy on the fast bowler.
