This former Indian cricketer bashed DC's Manish Pandey! Says the Batter is not worthy of being talked about!

The Delhi Capitals beat the Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday, but it took them a while to get their first point on the IPL 2023 points board. Chasing a modest 121 for victory, the Capitals nearly breezed past the mark in 19.2 overs, with Axar Patel securing DC’s four-wicket triumph.

It is safe to state that despite Delhi’s first victory of the year, weaknesses still exist. Before it’s too late, captain David Warner, coach Ricky Ponting, and director of cricket Sourav Ganguly must address the collective shortcomings of their hitters.

Former Indian Cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth bashed Delhi Capitals batter Manish Pandey last night after DC’s close win against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Former cricket players as well as fans have begun to have resentments towards the Capitals. So much so that former BCCI chairperson Krishnamachari Srikkanth completely declined to respond to a question regarding Manish Pandey during a conversation on the Star Sports Cricket Live show.

Srikkanth calmly acted as if the topic hadn’t even been raised when renowned broadcaster and Australian TV host Neroli Meadows spoke regarding Pandey & whether he should bat up the order for DC.

Meadows says : “Chikka, a word about Manish Pandey. He hasn’t quite been able to” before Kris Srikkanth interrupted and said that he has had enough of the Karnataka born Batter and said he is not worth of being discussed and the focus should shift towards Axar Patel.

“Why are we talking about Manish Pandey? I don’t want to talk about him. The guy shouldn’t even be in the team. Let’s talk about Axar Patel, how he has been in the form of his life and deserves to bat higher.” – Srikkanth said.

The former Batsman further stated that if he had charge of the team then Manish Pandey wouldn’t have played for the team. “No, I don’t want to talk about him. He shouldn’t be in this team. If I was the chairman of selectors, he wouldn’t have played.” – Srikkanth added,
