Sri Lanka vs Pakistan Match abandoned Due to Rain
Sri Lanka vs Pakistan Match: Rain played spoilsport in Bristol as the match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka has been called off with both teams sharing a point on Friday. For those of you who don’t know this is the first occasion when Sri Lanka has gained any points against Pakistan in World Cups.
Out of both the teams, Pakistan perhaps would be more disappointed as they had a very good chance to win the game and earn two points before they would face Australia in their next match on June 12.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, would happily take one point after earning a win against Afghanistan in their previous match. Though, there is still a lot of room for the Lankans in all the departments – batting in particular, before they play their next big game against Bangladesh on June 11, 2019.
Pakistan had come in the match on the back of an impressive win against World Cup favorites, England on Monday. The Men in Green had previously won all their World Cup encounters with England – seven in total. Sri Lanka and Pakistan are currently in third and fourth position respectively at the points table with three points apiece.
