Shaheen Afridi Returns to Pakistan Test Squad For Sri Lanka Test Series

Pakistan is all set to play two Test Series against SriLanka. Moni Morkel is all set to join Pakistan as a bowling coach for a Six-month contract. Ahead of the SriLanka series, Pakistan has received a major boost as Shaheen Afridi will be joining the Test squad.

Ace fast bowler Shaheen Afridi is all set to return to the Pakistan Test squad for the upcoming two-match test series against SriLanka.

Recently, Shaheen led Lahore Qalandars to victory in the Pakistan super league. Now, he will be returning for a longer format of the game and is all set to prove himself again. On the other hand, Mohammad Huraira and Allrounder Aamer Jamal will also get a maiden call to join the Pakistan Test squad.

Shaheen’s Statement on His Comeback

Shaheen said he is excited to return to Pakistan’s test squad after a year. Further, he said he missed Test cricket a lot, and returning to the test squad was very tough. He also added that after cutting the whole home season due to a knee injury, he would be all set to create a huge impact and make his return in the same country. Moreover, he is all set to complete his 100 Test Wickets, and also he said he wanted to thank all his fans for their support and love during my tough time and is ready for the challenge and to make an impactful test series against Sri Lanka.
