On 10th January 2020, Sachin Tendulkar wrote a note on the completion of Yuvraj Singh’s retirement anniversary. Expressing his love towards the left-hander, Sachin went down the memory lane to recall his first memory of Yuvraj.

Yuvi, the first glimpse the world got of you may have been in the Champions Trophy in 2000 but my first memory of you was during the Chennai camp. I couldn’t help but notice how athletic and deceptively quick you were at point. What I also realised that you had a wonderful six hitting ability and it was evident you could clear any ground in the world with ease. Sachin's Social Media Controversies

1. Sachin Tendulkar informing the nation about his son’s fake Twitter handle account:
Sachin Tendulkar once took to twitter to inform about a fake Twitter account with his son’s username. He further clarified that his son was not using Twitter and someone with a fake account is posting controversial tweets.

“I wish to clarify that my son Arjun & daughter Sara are not on Twitter. The account @jr_tendulkar is wrongfully impersonating Arjun and posting malicious tweets against personalities & institutions. Requesting @TwitterIndia to act on this as soon as possible.” He wrote.

2. When Sachin Tendulkar’s “no positive intent” comment didn’t go down well with MS Dhoni fans:
In the 2019 World Cup game against Afghanistan, MS Dhoni played one of the worst innings of his international career, scoring 28 off 52 balls. Though India had won that game, Sachin Tendulkar wasn’t pretty impressed with Dhoni, saying that he lacked positive intent.

“I felt slightly disappointed, it could have been much better. I was also not happy with the partnership between Kedar and Dhoni, it was very slow. We batted 34 overs of spin bowling and scored 119 runs. This was one area where we didn’t look comfortable at all. There was no positive intent,” Tendulkar said.

This didn’t go down well with the fans as they went berserk at Tendulkar.

Born on 24th April 1973 in Mumbai, who knew that the child would go on to become the greatest batsman in world cricket. Sachin was born to Ramesh Tendulkar, who was a Marathi novelist, and Rajni Tendulkar, who worked in an insurance company. He was the youngest of his four siblings.
