Sachin Tendulkar hails Yuvraj Singh for “Six Hitting Ability” on his “Retirement Anniversary”.

Yuvraj Singh, India’s ace allrounder completed one year of his retirement to which Sachin Tendulkar replied by sharing a message about the former and praised him for his “Six hitting ability”.

Tendulkar wrote on his official twitter handle “What a fantastic career you have had Yuvi. You have come out like a true champ every time the team needed you. The fight you put up through all the ups & downs on & off the field is just amazing. Best of luck for your 2nd innings & thanks for all that you have done for cricket,” Tendulkar tweeted.

The icon’s praising word about the Southpaw batsman shows the amount of love and respect he has for India’s great allrounder.

If you remember the 2011 World Cup celebration closely Yuvraj carried Tendulkar on his lap while they were cheering for the 2011 World Cup victory together they were relishing their long-cherished dream.

Tendulkar once said that he got emotional when he met Yuvraj in London while the latter was going through cancer treatment.

“When I saw my wife discussing medical terms with Yuvraj, I realized what he had been going through,” Tendulkar had said at the release of Yuvraj’s book ‘The Test of My Life: From Cricket to Cancer and Back’.

“When I went to meet him in London, I was telling my wife that I don’t want to break down when I see him,” Tendulkar had said then of the discussion with his doctor’s wife.

Taking about Yuvraj stats he played 40 Test Matches, 304 ODI, and 58 T20 for India. In Test Cricket he scored 1900 runs, ODI he scored 8701 runs. He also played a great role as a bowler as he was a useful leg spinner for India and took 111 wickets at an average of 36.55.
