SA T20 : Watch Marco Jansen smack 28 runs against this spinner

In their last SA20 match on Wednesday, Sunrisers Eastern Cape defeated MI Cape Town by two wickets. Grant Roelofsen and Ryan Rickelton scored 56 and 46 runs, respectively, as Cape Town reached a total of 171/8 in 20 overs after being asked to bat first. Roelof van der Merwe, Ottniel Baartman, and Aiden Markram all grabbed two wickets for the Sunrisers, while Sisanda Magala and the team’s captain, Aiden Markram, each took one wicket.

Whereas, Marco Jansen played an outstanding knock of 66 runs in just 27 balls and helped his team Sunrisers Eastern Cape in registering the victory. Jansen has a strong bowling reputation, but the world witnessed his ball-hitting abilities as he smeared master spinner Rashid Khan all over the pitch. The 16th over of Sunriser’s chase was bowled by Rashid khan, which was thrashed by Jansen. Jansen scored 28 runs of this over hitting 4 sixes and one boundary in the over and showed his ball hitting abilities with this. Meanwhile, Khan was only able to claim one wicket while giving up 53 runs in 4 overs.

Jansen was looking unstoppable during this innings. His innings includes 3 fours and 7 sixes that he smashed all over the ground. As a bowler, Marco Jansen has made a strong impression, but after this massive innings he has proved to be good with the bat too.

The left-handed all-around bowler has played for South Africa in 10 tests, taking 41 wickets and amassing 277 runs. He participated in three ODIs and took two wickets. Jansen has played one T20I match so far for the Proteas and grabbed up one wicket during that time.
