Revealed – who was the mystery girl at the Sunrisers Hyderabad table in the IPL auctions

The Indian Premier League began back in 2008 and since then it has brought many females in the Limelight. Be it Deepak Chahar’s sister Malti Chahar or RCB fan girl Deepika Ghose, the tournament has unearthed several females. On Thursday in the IPL 2020 auction which was held in the city of joy, Kolkata, a new girl was spotted on the Sunrisers Hyderabad table. She was seated beside Sunrisers mentor VVS Laxman and the camera was time and again shooting her. The woman is none other than the daughter of Hyderabad franchise owner and also a cricket lover herself. The 27 year old hails from the city of Chennai and has a degree in Masters of business administration. She was first seen on the television screen attending an IPL match between Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Hyderabad stadium. Her name is Kaviya Maran.

Sunrisers Hyderabad made very limited purchases, mostly buying Under-19 talent. Virat Singh and Priyam Garg were the major buys with Rs 1.9 crore while the biggest buy was Mitchell Marsh for Rs 2 crore.

The five most expensive players at the auctions were – Pat Cummins – 15.50 crore – Kolkata Knight Riders, Glenn Maxwell – INR 10.75 crore – Kings XI Punjab, Chris Morris – INR 10 crore – Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sheldon Cottrell – INR 8.5 crore – Kings XI Punjab and Nathan Coulter-Nile – INR 8 crore – Mumbai Indians.

Shakib Al Hasan (banned for one year), Deepak Hooda, Martin Guptill, Ricky Bhui and Yusuf Pathan were released by SRH ahead of the auctions. After the auctions, here is what their complete squad looks like:
