Paris Saint Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas has been ruled out of the side ahead of the Champions League semi-finals clash on Tuesday. PSG is scheduled to face RB Leipzig in the semi-finals of the Champions League in Portugal.

Earlier, Navas missed the side’s training session following his hamstring injury and pulled out of the quarter-finals win over Atalanta 2-1 last Wednesday.

He was replaced by Sergio Rico in the final few minutes of the match in the dramatic win. Navas underwent scans and his report later revealed that the 33-year-old suffered a torn hamstring. While Marcin Bulka is expected to keep the bench as a backup keeper for the remaining season.

The 26-year-old Rico will be starting for the PSG in the semi-finals clash. The Spanish keeper has only made six appearances for the side this season so far.  Rico signed a short-term contract with the side for the 2019-20 season to cover for the extended weeks in the league.

PSG has reached the semi-finals of the Champions League for the first time in the last 25 years and they would be expecting Neymar Jr., to deliver and take the team to the finals of the league.

PSG and RB Leipzig will face each other in Portugal on August 18.
