“Please BCCI do this for India’s Sake” Ravi Shastri suggestion to cricket board ahead of WTC final is winning hearts on Internet

People may criticize Ravi Shastri for being outspoken, but the man is unquestionably a champion. Whether it was helping Men in Blue win the Border-Gavaskar Trophy twice on Australian soil under his coaching or winning the 1983 Cricket World Cup as a player, Ravi Shastri has made an unparalleled contribution to Indian cricket.

Shastri recently gave BCCI another wonderful suggestion that the board should speak with each IPL franchise that includes players that are heading for the World Test Championship and they should be given enough break throughout the premier event so that they are freshly prepared for the World Test Championship Final.

The massive event is slated to take place at Oval in June from June 7 to June 11, with June 12 set aside as the reserved day in 2023.

“Even during the IPL the board has to tell the franchise, listen we need him, India needs him, so for India’s sake, if he doesn’t play those games it will be good,” Shastri said while talking to Indian Express.

Since India finished second in the first World Test Championship final and hasn’t won an ICC Trophy in the past ten years, Shastri’s advice is particularly pertinent. It will enable India to reenergize, relax, and stay tactically adroit so that they can put their talents on display in the second World Test Championship final.

Men in Blue have failed to win major trophy post 2013, there have been several reasons responsible for India’s debacle which means psychologically adopted to the norms of the game and handling crunch phase of the game with ease.

They have also failed to seize important moments of the game also batting at the top has been absolutely debacle, which they need to overcome going forward.

This is the year belonging to two major Cricketing events, starting with Asia Cup 2023, which will be held in Pakistan followed by Men’s ODI World Cup to be held in India later this year.
