Pep Guardiola points toward possible exhaustion of Man City players following a 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich!

After a resounding entry to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals for the 3rd season in a row under Pep Guardiola’s management, Manchester City are looking most likely than ever to win the European competition this year. The UCL title has eluded them for a long time but it is not just UCL that they are chasing.

Guardiola and Co. are on a mission to complete a treble this year. In 2 days time, City will lock horns with Sheffield United for the FA Cup semi-finale at Wembley before welcoming Arsenal at home for the title deciding match. While Cityzens will try to keep their calm in the business end of the season, Pep Guardiola suggests that the team is under a lot of exhaustion.

Now it is not a secret that the footballing schedule is extremely packed with matches after matches and for a club like City, they always have this pressure of playing to win major silverwares. If City are looking to complete the treble then will have to continue their streak.

From now on if they win 13 matches in all competitions, doubters will be finding a place to hide while Erling Haaland could be gearing up for his first Ballon D’or trophy if the journalists don’t vote for the Argentinian World Champion Lionel Messi.

The 22-year-old Norwegian last is the youngest to reach 35 Champions League goal and 12 of those goals have come this season itself. He is still 6 goals behind surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo’s tally of 17 goals in a single UCL season. Haaland will surely have a chance to reach closer to the milestone over 2 legs of last 4 tie against Real Madrid.

Will City prevail under pressure?
