All the countries had already declared their squads for the T20 World Cup 2024 to be held from June 2 but Pakistan squad had not arrived. However, now their squad has also been announced.
On Friday, PCB announced Pakistan’s 15-member team for the World Cup. The command of this team is in the hands of Babar Azam. At the same time, place has been given to fast bowler Haris Rauf, who was suffering from injury problems for some time.
Many young players have also got a chance in the Pakistan squad, who will be seen playing the T20 World Cup for the first time. PSL stars like Abrar Ahmed, Azam Khan, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Saim Ayub and Usman Khan have also been included in the team captained by Babar Azam.

PCB said in its statement after announcing the squad, “This is a very talented and balanced team, which has a mix of young and experienced players. These players have been playing together for some time and are fully prepared for the tournament to be held next month.
Haris Rauf, who was injured for a long time, became completely fit
Pakistan’s star fast bowler in limited overs cricket, Haris Rauf, was injured in the recent season of Pakistan Super League, due to which he could not play cricket for Pakistan for a long time. However, he has become fully fit just before the T20 World Cup 2024.
PCB said, “Haris Rauf is fully fit and is bowling well in the nets. It would have been good if he had got a chance to play at Headingley, but we are confident that he will perform better in the coming matches also because He will also have an important role along with other strike bowlers in the T20 World Cup.

Hasan Ali did not get a chance
Experienced fast bowler Hasan Ali, who was recently included in the Pakistan team on the England tour as injury cover for Haris Rauf, has not got a chance in the T20 World Cup squad.
