Odisha FC announced on Saturday that they have roped in South African Cole Alexander ahead of seventh edition of ISL on a 2-year agreement. Cole who plays at the midfielder position for South Africa and played youth football at Hellenic FC and Ajax Cape Town before making his senior professional debut for the latter. Cole, a high-energy midfielder by trade, had also represented various other South African clubs Vasco Da Gama, Chippa United, Polokwane City and SuperSport United.

He was one of the outstanding performers for Bidvest Wits in the South African Premier League last season before moving to Odisha FC. Also, Odisha FC coach Stuart Baxter is happy to get Cole in the squad and he said that he has worked with Cole in the past and his addition to the squad will help us in enormous way as he will bring character, quality and energy in the squad.
