India’s wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni has been away from cricket since the 2019 World Cup and questions have been surfacing on the social media as to whether he will play the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia or not. MS Dhoni has been spending his time with his family and also served his army regiment during the two-month break.
After the end of the World Cup, Dhoni missed the West Indies tour and also the home series against South Africa and Bangladesh. He is also not playing in the current series against West Indies at home. As things stand, Dhoni is likely to be back to the field during the Indian Premier League (IPL) next year.
Unlike other cricketers, Dhoni is rarely active on social media and doesn’t frequently post about his personal and professional life. But the former Indian captain seemed to be in a different mood on Monday as he shared a sweet footage of his wife Sakshi on Instagram and it has been trending all over social media since then.
MS Dhoni posted a throwback video of his wife and himself, where the couple are seen preparing for an ad shoot at a petrol pump.
“Blast from the past. When you turn the table and ask the director to deliver the dialogue specially when she keeps saying such an easy dialogue you should do it in one take. Time flies this was more than a Year back,” Dhoni’s caption on the video.
The 38-year old has been seen indulging with his commercial commitments in the recent few weeks and has been travelling to various parts of the country for ad shoots along with his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni.
