Cricket player Michael Alexander Leask was born on October 29, 1990 and plays for the national cricket team of Scotland. Michael Leask participated in the 2014 Cricket World Cup Qualifier match for the cricket team of Scotland.

Playing Cricket Career

Michael Alexander Leask was selected the player of the match despite the cricket team of Scotland losing the One Day International (ODI) against England on May 9, of the year 2014, in Aberdeen, when he struck 42 runs off just 16 balls.

Michael Leask committed to Somerset before the campaign of the year 2016. Leask’s departure from Somerset at the end of the current campaign was announced in the month of September of the year 2017 following two seasons with the county. On October 1, of the year 2017, Michael Alexander Leask made his Scotland first-class debut during the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup.

Michael Alexander Leask was chosen to represent Scotland A on their journey to Ireland to take on the Ireland Wolves in the month of June of the year 2019. Michael Alexander Leask was chosen to represent the Edinburgh Rocks in the inaugural Euro T20 Slam cricket competition in the month of July of the year 2019. However, the cricket competition was cancelled the very next month.

Michael Alexander Leask was included in Scotland’s roster for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier match in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the month of September of the year 2019.
