Manchester City will travel to the Bernabeu to take on Los Blancos in the first leg of the Champions League semifinal.
Ever since it was played for the first time in 2012, the clash between Madrid and City has been extremely thrilling. Since then, the teams have played each other multiple times, most recently in the semifinals of the last Champions League season.
The Cityzens have yet to make history by winning the UEFA Champions League. They came close to winning the league title in the 2021 season, but sadly, they fell short as Chelsea won the final against them. Real Madrid, though, has won the most Champions League titles. They have won it five times in the past ten years and 14 times overall.
Real Madrid will try to take advantage of their home leg and put Manchester City under pressure for the second leg to be played at the Etihad. City is in great form, as they are leading the Premier League and also have the FA Cup final coming up. Madrid recently won the Copa Del Rey for the 20th time on Saturday, defeating Osasuna 2-1 in the final.
In all eight Champions League games that both teams have played against one another over the past ten years, there have been three wins for each team and two draws.
