Wednesday marked the 1,000th goal for Manchester City since Pep Guardiola was hired as manager in the summer of 2016.

City defeated West Ham 3-0, where Ake and Haalang scored the first two goals. Foden scored the third and the 1000th goal under the Pep Era with an excellent volley.

Guardiola has transformed City into one of the most dominant teams in football since taking over as manager in the summer of 2016. Guardila has frequently brought the city fame. They have won four league cups, one FA Cup, and four Premier Leagues. Additionally, they made history in 2021 by making it to the final of the Champions League. They also stand a very good chance of winning the triple this season.

City is one of the most goal-scoring teams in recent history because of its lethal attack. City scored 1,000 goals in just 404 games while Pep was in charge. They have amassed 1000 goals at a rate of 2.6 goals per game, which clearly demonstrates the talent of the players Pep has on his team and the tactical wisdom that helped him guide his side to this accomplishment.

He has led his club to victory in 294 of the 404 games, while drawing 53 and losing 57.

Pep has only given up 331 goals, giving him a GD of 669. Since Guardiola took over, Manchester City has also become the PL team with the most goals scored. Liverpool is the team with the second-most goals scored, with 797.

After Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex, who needed 554 and 601 games, respectively, Guardiola became the third manager in the Premier League to score 1000 goals.

Under Pep’s leadership, 40 different players scored against 71 different opponents. The top five scorers during Pep’s tenure are Aguero (124), Sterling (120), Jesus (95), De Bruyne (79), and Mahrez (78).

Pep is congratulated by the supporters and everyone at the club, who also praise him for his service and express optimism for a better future.
