Lucknow Super Giants full squad SWOT ahead of IPL 2023.

Lucknow Super Giants debuted in Indian premier league, last season. They had a good run in the league, now the team is focusing more on future what steps could be taken in sake of team. Lets look at their SWOT analysis:-

 

Strengths– The team has a strong batting lineup with talented and experienced players who can score big runs. The openers of Lucknow Super Giants have been performing consistently, Kl Rahul has scored 600+ runs in every season after 2018. Quinton de kock showed last year, how he can change gears when required.

Deepak hooda and Nicholas pooran who has been added recently in the squad and all rounders like Krunal pandya and Marcus stoinis could help in maintaining a balanced team for the whole season. The pace bowling options have been selected, LSG have bought Mark wood over 7 crore.

The team has a good spin bowling attack with quality spinners who can take wickets on any surface. The team has a supportive local crowd who can create a home advantage for the team. The crowd of Lucknow comes in huge numbers to support their squad.

Weaknesses:  The team lacks quality pace bowlers who can take wickets and contain runs. The understanding between players can be one thing that can be a issue for the team. They haven’t played together for a long time. To perform well in this season they’ve to become compatible with the group.

In recent times, Kl Rahul is fighting to get his form back, in the recent series against Australia. He only score one half-century in 3 matches. If LSG wants to make the most of this season then Rahul has to perform his level best.

 

Opportunities: IPL 2023 will open gates for some young guns, over the period of time IPL has produced some rare talent. Krunal Pandya would be eying on to make a permanent place in the T20 squad like earlier.

Deepak hooda, the new  member of T20 squad for india, will try to perform his best to seal his spot permanent in the Indian team. The team has the opportunity to expand its fanbase and attract new supporters by performing well on the field.

 

Threats:  The biggest threat for Lucknow Super Giants is unavailability of Mark wood. Wood provides a better stability in team and in pace bowling department. Form of Stoinis is a concern for Lucknow Super Giants.
