- Colombo Strikers are all set to chase a total of 189 runs. The chances of chasing this big target were not very high. But Babar Azam seemed to have a different plan in his mind.
- Azam and Nissanka went on to score and gave a start of 111 runs to the team. Nissanka got out, but Babar Azam went on to play for a big score.
- Even though Babar Azam was not getting any support from the other end, he kept on going.
- In the end, as a lone warrior, Azam made the team win with his brilliant century.
Azam scored 104 runs, on 59 balls, and to maintain the strike rate of 176.27 runs, he went on to hit 5 sixes. It’ll be interesting to see his contribution in the upcoming matches.
