Kylian Mbappe makes dream move to Real Madrid
The French superstar Kylian Mbappe signed for Real Madrid on Tuesday, July 16. The 25-year-old forward joins the Spanish giants on a free transfer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain.
Regarded as the centrepiece of Los Blancos’ summer transfer business, Kylian Mbappe, tens of thousands of Real Madrid fans came to Santiago Bernabeu stadium for his official reveal.

Kylian Mbappe spoke to the crowd in perfect Spanish, saying he was so happy to achieve his childhood dream. He confessed that he had been learning Spanish for this great event.
The French superstar was however quick to appreciate Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez for having utter confidence in him. He appreciated the much-coveted chase by the club, which had earlier chased him in the past, in the summer of 2017 and the January transfer window of this year.

Kylian Mbappe committed his loyalty to the club and he stressed what the club has been able to achieve. He stated his intention to challenge for the club’s place among the leaders of European football, Real Madrid which he acknowledges as his ideal club.

The striker said sometimes problems and energy can be overwhelming but he would give his all to bring victory to the team. He also discussed the challenges that one has to face in order to wear the Real Madrid shirt.
The ceremony featured a special appearance by Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane, who played a crucial role in Mbappe’s journey. Zidane had first invited Mbappe for a trial at the club back in 2012 when the young player was just 13 years old.
Real Madrid’s President Perez accepted such claims and even said that Mbappe had been a Real Madrid fan from childhood and that is why he dedicated himself to ensure he joins the club.
Medical update and preseason tour
kylian Mbappe earlier on the day went for a medical check-up where he received treatment for his recent broken nose that he sustained during the Euro 2024. The player claimed his willingness to play in the UEFA Super Cup, however, this solely depends on the coaching staff and his healing status.
The decision concerning his participation in the US pre-season tour is still to be made. But also for reaching Mbappe, he said he will join the club if they think it is necessary. He especially stressed his willingness and preparedness to make himself available at any time when he would be needed in the team.
