Joe Hart set to Join Tottenham on free transfer following Burnley exit

Joe Hart is all set to Join Tottenham on a free transfer from Burnley as his contract expired with the latter club this summer. Tottenham boss, Jose Mourinho wants him in the squad as the former England International will add the depth in the team, especially with his goalkeeping skills.

He is in the last stage of joining the Tottenham from Burnley as he is completing his medical procedure at the moment.

It will not be easy for Hart to be a part of playing XI as he will receive stiff competition from Paulo Gazzaniga, who is currently the number 1 choice as the goalkeeper.

Hart’s experience playing in home conditions will certainly help hotspur but as per the media reports, he will become third-choice goalkeeper for spurs after Paulo Gazzaniga and skipper Hugo Lloris, who is also a goalkeeper.

Before his stint with Burnley, Hart made 348 appearances for the Manchester City and then joined the former club in 2018.

He holds the records for maximum Golden Glove awards four times in his career. He was recognized as England First choice goalkeeper from 2010 to 2017 and was also selected in England’s squads for two FIFA World Cups and as many UEFA European Championships.
