Early Life: James Namaba Kameti is a Kenyan Kabaddi player who was roped in for UP Yoddha in the ongoing edition of PKL.

He plays as the role of raider and his performance in Bangabandhu Cup in 2021 where he was adjudged as the best raider of that tournament which opened his chances to play in the marquee events like PKL.

When Kameti was picked for UP Yoddha he was excited to showcase his talent and sharpen his skills when he will competing with best of the business.

PKL Statistics so far: When it comes to his performance he still hasn’t received the game time for UP Yoddha and waiting in the wings for the opportunity but considering UP Yoddha’s seventh position in the ongoing edition of PKL it can be assumed that he might get a chance in the raiding department to complement Pardeep Narwal who is regarded as one of the best raiders in the history of Kabaddi till date. 

Jasveer Singh who is currently serving as the head coach of UP Yoddha was elated after James joined UP Yoddha squad for season 8 and added that his new ward will do wonders in the marquee event but the question arises why he is not be given chance to showcase his skills for UP Yoddha till date. 

“We are delighted to have James on our team. We have seen his performance in the Bangabandhu Cup where he contributed to almost 50 percent of the raids for his team,” said Jasveer.

Taking more about his brilliance in Bagabandhu Cup in 2021, he made total 85 raids in 6 matches and scored 55 raid points which is almost 50 percent in comparison to his entire side which clearly speaks the brilliance of this raider.
