Royal Challengers Bangalore are on cloud nine as they are on the brink of qualifying for the playoffs for the first time since 2016. Since the 2016 finals, Royal Challengers Bangalore have struggled to make it to the top four and ended up eighth for two seasons. However, with the proper amendments to their line-up and squads, Royal Challengers Bangalore are looking like a new side who are performing consistently.

In the previous game against Kolkata Knight Riders, it was a dominant show from the players. The bowlers ran riot across the Kolkata batting line-up reducing them for 16 for the loss of four wickets at the end of six overs. Not only that, but they also restricted the opposition for a below-par 84, the lowest in the league. The captain of the team will look for a dominant performance again at Dubai International Stadium.

As Chennai Super Kings have nothing to play for, they will be looking to avoid the wooden spoon. The team can reach a maximum of 12 points where the qualification chances are very bleak. The team will look for an upset against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

With a win, RCB can be the first team in IPL 2020 to qualify for the playoffs. Here are the top three picks for Royal Challengers Bangalore against CSK:

#1) Virat Kohli

The Indian team skipper wasn’t required that much in the previous game as the bowlers restricted the opposition for a petty total. However, the runout of Devdutt Padikkal made captain Kohli take the crease who eased past the opposition. Virat Kohli steered the chase along with Gurkeerat Singh Mann and won the game for aside.

In the ongoing edition of IPL, the dependency on Virat Kohli has reduced by a large extent. However, it was his 90 from 54 deliveries that helped RCB to post a daunting total against CSK in the reverse fixture. He will be one of the top three picks for RCB against CSK.

#2) Mohammad Siraj

There was severe criticism of the Hyderabad fast bowler but he shut down his critics with a great and impressive spell against Kolkata Knight Riders. He not only raked up good numbers but also raked up several records to his name. He bowled two maiden wicket overs on the trot and became the first bowler to do so.

The slowing nature of strips in Dubai has helped the pacers who are good with the variations. With the fifth bowler spot still open, Mohammad Siraj will look to impress again.

#3) Gurkeerat Singh Mann

In the past two games for Royal Challengers Bangalore, one player has been common. That is Gurkeerat Singh Mann. Against Rajasthan Royals, he remained not out with AB de Villiers after taking the team home whereas against KKR, he was unbeaten and walked back to Pavillion alongside Virat Kohli. The player will be looking to provide the same support for his team on Sunday.

A good player of spin, Gurkeerat Singh Mann will have a big role to play against CSK as they have great spinners in their armoury. He will be one of the top three picks for Royal Challengers Bangalore against CSK.
