Star Indian Wicket-keeper Batsman Rishabh Pant took to Instagram earlier today to update the status of his recovery from a car crash last year. In that video clip, the 25-year-old can be seen walking upstairs with a knee guard on his affected Right leg.
Back in December 2022 while Rishabh Pant was driving back home to Delhi from Dehradun, he met with a deadly accident which could have even taken his life. However, Pant was lucky enough to come out of it alive with some major injuries on his Body.

He was supposed to play a major role not just for team India but also Delhi Capitals in IPL 2023. But that terrifying accident ruled him out of all cricketing actions and as a result his teams were negatively impacted. While Delhi Capitals finished 9th in IPL, India went on to lose the WTC 2023 final against Australia a couple of days ago.

However, Indian cricket fans will be delighted to see Rishabh Pant take another step forward towards his recovery. Since the car crash, the 25-year-old has gone from strength to strength and showed his progress on social media every now and then.

On February 10, he uploaded a picture of his walking with the help of crutches where he wrote – “One step forward, One step stronger and one step better”. Then on March 15 he posted a video clip of him walking in a swimming pool with the help of crutches.
On May 5, Rishabh Pant captioned a video, “Happy No more crutches Day”, where he was seen throwing the helping stick to be able to walk. And earlier today he uploaded another video where he is seen moving upstairs with a Bandage on his right knee.

The discomfort on his face is quite clearly visible in the first clip while in the following part of the video, Rishabh Pant was walking up the stairs with a smile on his face which can be an indication that his comeback is very nearly on the cards.
