India’s Squad for WTC final: BCCI not happy with Suryakumar Yadav’s form; Ajinkya Rahane asked to practice with red ball

The stage is set for World Test Championship final, which will be played at Oval between India and Australia for the coveted title.  The victor of this contest will be crowned the second Test cricket champions.

According to reports in the media, SuryaKumar Yadav has fallen out of form with the willow in all three formats, making his position in the middle order, particularly with regard to Test cricket, uncertain.

Other reports suggest that, Ajinkya Rahane has been asked by BCCI to practice with red ball during IPL 2023 as his form in the recent past has been quite effective.

According to further rumours, Ajinkya Rahane has been ordered by the BCCI to practise with the red ball during the 2023 IPL because of his recent strong form and the game he recently played against

The way he was hitting the ball it was quite clear that he has found his lost rhythm back, and his contribution with the bat has played a prominent role in strengthening CSK squad.

Rahane was recently asked about his terrific performance with the bat to which he responded “The way I was hitting the ball I was confident that given a chance I will contribute with the bat”.

Rahane has been the maintstay of Indian Test cricket team for quite some time and his addition to Test squad will come in handy for India.

Rahane also had a good experience of performing in foreign conditions so it would be interesting to see whether he will make comeback in game’s oldest format or not only time will tell.

“Yes, Surya’s form a concern. But he has time to pull through. If he manages to come out on top, he still has a place. Both Shubman and KL are important members of the Test team and barring any injuries should pick themselves automatically,” the official told InsideSport.

The squad for WTC final will be picked in the month of April where they will try to pick best players based on all conditions.
