India vs Australia 3rd Test: Virat Kohli frustrated after getting dismissed cheaply

Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli looked to be in fine form in the second innings of the third Test against Australia after scoring a tenacious 22 in the opening innings. But, he was caught LBW by Australia’s Matthew Kuhnemann, hence he was unable to surpass the score of 13. He attempted a pull shot at a delivery that skidded but absolutely missed the line. When the Aussie players enthusiastically applauded, he decided against going for the review. The Indian dressing and Kohli were astonished.

Following this unexpected expulsion, Kohli was quite disappointed because he was ejected after settling into his rhythm and because the team needed him the most at the moment, which he was unable to provide. Just before he was dismissed a delivery that had extra bounce was bowled to Kohli, the ball hit his glove, and he nearly avoided getting out.

In the second innings, India has a little lead over Australia thanks to Cheteshwar Pujara‘s (59) valiant effort. Earlier, after the visitors had experienced a stunning batting collapse, Australia rallied back to leave India in difficulty.

On an aggressively moving field in Indore, India is still fighting to get a decent score on the board and setting a good target for Aussies. Ultimately, India appears to be in a dire scenario as the whole team got all-out for 163 in their second innings. India’s batting order has crumbled for a poor score in both innings. India now sets a 76-run target for Australia.
