Watch: Virat Kohli breaks into dance on the field during 3rd Test against Australia

Day 1 of the third Test match in Indore was a letdown for India as the hosts were bowled out for 109, and Australia eventually took the lead. Apart for Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli, no Indian batsman was able to pass the 20-run threshold due to risky strokes and an inability to handle the dual bounce of the pitch. Although things for Rohit Sharma and company were looking bleak, Kohli was seen on camera dancing on the field. While fielding, the star Indian batter suddenly burst into dancing, and Rohit Sharma could be seen grinning at the antics of his colleague.

Usman Khawaja’s 60 and spinner Matthew Kuhnemann’s five-wicket haul on the opening day of the third Test on Wednesday gave Australia the early lead after they had dismissed India for 109.

On a pitch that was violently shifting in Indore, the visitors were 156-4 at stumps, leading India by 47 runs as they attempted to bounce back from two crushing series losses.

Towards the end of play, spinner Ravindra Jadeja had removed all four Australian wickets, leaving only Peter Handscomb and Cameron Green batting. Handscomb had seven runs and Green had six. But, later on day 2 Australia team got all-out on a total score of 197 runs.

India, on the other hand, have scored 142/7 till now in their second innings and is finding it difficult to establish a dominant position in the game.
