Talking about the latest development, India Under 17 will be locking horns against Qatar Under 17 on Feb 25th and 28th respectively.

This team under the coaching instinct of Bibano Fernandes, Under 17 national team have already qualified for AFC Asian Cup for Junior event.

They are popularly termed as “Blue Colts” and they have emerged immensely in last few years by winning back to back friendly matches against Uzbekistan Under 17 squad.

Based on reports from different media outlets, AIFF will successfully introduce the concept of Promotion and Relegation from next year onwards.

Bottom Tier teams from ISL will be relegated and those spots will be occupied Top Tier I League teams so that equal chances will be provided to players and clubs from distinct franchise.

ISL viewership have been dropped down due to variety of reasons which include- lack of marketing, top class overseas players and quality of overall squad.
