In a historic and resounding display of India’s commitment to para-sports, a formidable 446-member contingent, including 303 athletes, is set to represent the nation at the fourth edition of the Asian Para Games. The event is scheduled to take place in Hangzhou, China, from October 22 to 28.

The Sports Ministry’s nod has paved the way for 303 athletes, comprising 191 men and 112 women, who will compete across 17 sporting disciplines during the Asian Games – Para. In addition to the athletes, the ministry has also approved 143 coaches, escorts, officials, and support staff, all of whom will play pivotal roles in ensuring the contingent’s success at the games.
