On Tuesday at the Holkar Stadium, Indore, India and New Zealand locked horns with each other for the 3rd and final ODI. The Kiwis won the toss and asked India to bat first but was it the best of decisions?
The Indian batting line up has taken the charge and have been punishing the Kiwis right from the start. Opener Shubhman Gill and Skipper Rohit Sharma are not letting the Kiwi bowlers settle in and their partnership reached 160 runs.
Rohit Sharma has continued with his scoring spree and has now scored 2 back-to-back fifties.
💣🏏 VINTAGE HITMAN! Rohit Sharma has smacked the bowlers all around the park to bring up his 49th ODI fifty.
😍 It's great to see him play this way!

Today he reached a career milestone of 49 ODI half-centuries and he will be desperate to convert his momentum into triple figures. Its been 3 years since Rohit Sharma scored a full-century. His last ODI ton came against Australia in January 2020 but since then, Centuries have gone missing.
The 33-year-old has reached closer but hasn’t converted it into a big innings but today it seems more likely for him to end the drought. Sharma until now has scored 7 sixes and 8 fours. If he scores a 100 today, it will boost him with a lot of confidence ahead of a very important year of 2023.
