Team India’s schedule for 2019-20 season

As the ongoing series between India and England is currently poised at 1-1 and a lot of things are at stake when the two champion teams will face each other in the 3rd T20I match scheduled at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

As per the latest reports, the remaining three matches will be held behind closed doors due to rise in COVID-19 cases and the fans who have purhcased the tickets for the remaining T20I will receive their refund amount back as soon as possible.

The decision has been taken by BCCI in consultation with local authorities to make sure that series is conducted under strict health measures as India has seen an alarming rise in COVID-19 cases in last few days so the decision is absolutely right in current circumstances.

However, in the first two games witnessed fans in huge numbers who came to support Men In Blue. There is certainly no doubt about the fact that when fans come to stadium it lights the atomosphere of the ground to another level and with every fours and sixes that Men in Blue hit you will clearly see the loud cheers and smile on the faces of cricket lovers who wants to see Virat Kohli led side to win every single match across all formats.

“We had 52,000 official admission through turnstile (tickets). There were 3,000-4,000 complimentary tickets. The rest were police and volunteers, bringing the total to about 57,000,” Anil Patel, the joint secretary of the GCA, was quoted as saying.

“Most of the crowd bought tickets at the low-end, Rs 500 and Rs 1,000. There was less demand for high-end tickets,” he added. The venue has a capacity of 1,10,000 out of which the GCA allowed 50 percent.

However it will be interesting to see that whether Rohit Sharma will be part of the third T2o International in place of Kl Rahul who have been horrible with the bat.
