“I will reach out to Dhoni if given a chance to ensure that he participate in SA T20” reveals former Proteas legend

MS Dhoni

Many Indian cricket fans have feelings for Ms Dhoni since the latter has brought honour to the country by leading it to three ICC trophies.

He is the only captain in cricket history to do this.

After his retirement in 2020, his market worth and brand image have increased, and he is still in charge of the Yellow army in the cash-rich league.

He has effectively led his team to four IPL championships.

Speaking about recent events, former Proteas captain and SA T20 commissioner Graeme Smith said that it is “BCCI Prerogative” for Indian players to participate in SA T20.

He continued by saying that someone like MS would contribute more with his involvement in the SA T20 League because the players would greatly benefit from his experience.

The BCCI is to blame since they have been a huge help to us and because we have learned a lot from their past experiences, whether they were hosting IPL events or the World Cup. We accept their choice.

BCCI is the only cricket board which doesn’t allow their players to play in another league as long as they are playing International cricket or IPL.

This is the biggest reason why IPL is such a massive success as USP(Unique Selling Proposition) is still intact.

The upcoming edition of IPL will start from mid March 2023 will run till May 2023 where 10 teams will compete against each other for the coverted title.
