"I will be more Aggressive Going Forward in this Competition" reveals RCB Skipper Faf Du Plessis in latest RCB Bold Diaries Interview

In the current Indian Premier League (IPL), Royal Challengers Bangalore’s captain Faf du Plessis has been one of the most crucial batsmen for the squad and has produced some outstanding performances to lead them to victory. The Orange Cap bearer spoke candidly about his new batting strategy in RCB Bold Diary and how it has benefited the squad in the competition.

Faf du Plessis has been playing bravely in the IPL 2023, scoring 511 runs in 10 matches with a strike rate of 157.71 so far. He intends to play more bravely with his bat in the remaining games to help the side reach the playoffs.

He first concentrated on playing with a greater strike rate, and now he also wants to play large innings for RCB.

“I have really been quite intentional about trying to get hundreds, finding gears I can work through mid-innings period and try and get to innings,” Faf du Plessis said during RCB Bold Diaries.

The captain always had a fantastic offensive, which was extremely important to RCB in the competition. He has improved his ability to switch up his approach during innings and hit more boundaries, which has also helped him enhance his strike rate.

“In the past, I’ve always thought I had a good offensive game, but I felt like there was another gear in terms of pushing your strike rate from 130 to 150 at least, and then occasionally 160-170, so I’ve worked on that a lot. “But it’s also crucial for me to play as much cricket as I can to try and stay at the peak of my game. Faf Du Plessis continued.

At the Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday, Faf du Plessis will serve as the team’s captain and try to add another victory to the competition.
