I think Australia is probably going to blow away India in the ongoing Test series, reveals Warne

Legendary Australian Spinner Shane Warne believes that there is no chance for Men in Blue to turn around their fate in the 2nd Test match against Australia starting from December 26th in Melbourne. He added that Indian team will be whitewashed by 4-0 in the upcoming Test series.

Indian team received a huge criticism when the entire batting unit failed miserably when they were bundled out on 36 runs at the loss of nine wickets barring the wicket of Mohammad Shami who got retired hurt due to amazing bowling display from Hazlewood and Cummins. Warne while taking to Fox sports said that it will not be easy for India to forget about their bad performance in first test when they step on the field in the second Test match.

I think Australia is probably going to blow them away. They will be a bit shocked by what happened at Adelaide.”

“(Mohammed) Shami is a huge loss as well. He’s such a quality bowler. And if you look at bowlers for the Melbourne conditions, drop-in pitches, Shami hits the seam and stands it up, and bowls a good length and straight.” He said.

However he added that India can only bounce back in the upcoming Test match if they get their playing X1 right as they have world class players in their lineup including the likes Pujara, Rahane and Kl Rahul.

“Having said that, they have some class players to come in like KL Rahul. Young Gill will come in. (Ajinkya) Rahane is a class act. We know what (Cheteshwar) Pujara can do,” Warne concluded.

It is evident that India will go with four to five changes in the upcoming encounter against the host as the visitors certainly look less strong on paper but they have to play well in order to remove the scare of the First Test match.
