I don’t think IPL 2021 will be the last one for MS Dhoni: CSK CEO Kasi Vishwanathan

MS Dhoni is not just a cricket player in India but it’s an emotion and when the wicket keeper batsman wears a yellow jersey to play in the cash rich league he is treated as demi god in the southern part of India.

As someone who hails from Ranchi to playing for Chennai based franchise right from the inaugural season and lifting three titles till date under his leadership is a saga to remember.

Captain Cool is the only skipper who is currently playing in IPL who has captained the only one side right from its inception in 2008.

As Dhoni who retired from International cricket on 15th August 2020 was expected that he will be playing his last season in 2020 but he ended all speculation in post match ceremony where he was asked by celebrated commentator Harsha Bhogle are you planning to retire from IPL also after this season to which legendary wicket keeper batsman replied “Definetly not”.

As Dhoni will be gearing once again to lead his side in IPL 2021 there will be lot of questions that will be raised that whether he is playing his last IPL and want to continue taking any managerial role in the next season of IPL to which CSK CEO Kasi Vishwanathan said that I don’t think it will be his last season of IPL and we as franchise are not considering any player as Dhoni’s replacement in years to come.

“See, I don’t think it is going to be his final year. This is my personal view and I don’t think we are looking at anybody now,” said Viswanathan.
