“U think u would have survived for long if not a first ball? Stop crying over these things mate.. thought u would talk sense after ur playing days.. but few things never change u r the prime example of that. Always crying.” He wrote.
Though he deleted his Tweet later.
Social Media Controversies
Harbhajan Singh’s career was riding smoothly until Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja came into the picture. The 39-year old spinner soon lost his place over Ashwin’s in India’s limited overās team and Test team.
Ravi Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja carried the flag of India together thereafter for many years in both the formats, making Harbhajan’s chances of making a comeback grim.
On one occasion, when India won the test series against New Zealand 3-0, Harbhajan Singh took a dig at Ravichandran Ashwin saying that the current Indian pitches aid spinners more than what it used to.
“Kumble and my test wicket count would have been something else if we got wickets like last 4 years we playing on.”

Ashwin, in reply, called Harbhajan Singh a legend and tried not the stretch it further.
“Harbhajan Singh has been an inspiration and I started bowling off-spin only after seeing the 2001 series. This banter going on is unhealthy.” Ashwin wrote.

“By pitting players against each other we aren’t going to gain anything but just a juicy headline. Lets respect people and keep the game healthy,”Ā he added.
Harbhajan did reply to that and closed the matter once for all.
