Harbhajan Singh reacts obnoxiously after Virender Sehwag reminds him of the Slap gate at Mohali!

There have been a few issues surrounding the Indian Premier League (IPL) over the years. The “slapgate” episode, in which Harbhajan Singh slapped S Sreesanth, was one of those that really rocked the cricketing world. The situation was brought up once more when Virender Sehwag, Sreesanth, and Harbhajan gathered as IPL 2023 pundits.

Sehwag made fun of Sreesanth during the panel discussion, and Harbahajan who was at the giving end had to step in and change the the subject.

Later on Sreesanth who was at the receiving end disclosed that he shared a special bond with Harbhajan after the Mohali episode. The former India pacer said that he would hug Harbhajan before the game used to begin as a part of a ritual that apparently made his performances better for India.

On that note, Sehwag threw a nasty question on whether Sreesanth started the practice after or before the “Mohali incident,” (slap gate). Harbhajan was pretty much in embarrassment and urged everyone to forget about it.

“I want to share that before playing a Test or any other match, I always hugged Bhajji pa (Harbhajan Singh). My performace always used to be better.” – said Sreesanth. Then Sehwag added spice to it and asked – “When did this hug trend start! Probably after the incident in Mohali.” “Bhul jao yaar”- (Forget it Friend) said an obnoxious Harbhajan.

However, Sreesanth once again came into the conversation, stating that his ritual’s origin is way before the infamous incident took place in 2008. Harbhajan Singh then concluded the topic by saying – “Kuch toh log kahenge” (People will always say something).

Meanwhile, Sreesanth very recently spoke about his cordial relationship with Harbhajan Singh and admitted that they have been very good friends since the incident. “That was just a misunderstanding and the media made a big noise out of it. I will just say that Bhajji pa has supported me from the beginning in every way, including recently with commentary tips.”
