“Gukesh is playing so well I am not enjoying at All” said World Champion Magnus Carlsen After another loss
There is a popular saying in Sports “No matter where you come from you caste, creed and culture what you exhibit on the ground would make things either title or against you also Sports is absolute leveler which humbles you down like nothing else” this statement perfectly fits on D Gukesh the man who let his performance speak someone who is cool as cucummber and let his best moves do the talking.
D Gukesh registered victory against Magnus Carlsen where the latter didn’t looked dejected this time around as compare to the last time where he was utterly shattered in Norway.
There is another clip which is going Viral on Social Media in reference to Magnus Carlsen who said ” D Gukesh is a good player but he has to win more tournaments to become Great for sure”
The same Gukesh beat him once again and this time it was taken in good way from World Champion Carlsen.
Carlsen and Gukesh are currently playing Grand Chess Tour where Gukesh defeated him in 6th round, after losing that game Carlsen further said “Yes he is doing incredibly well now. It’s a long way to go in this tournament and winning five games in the row in no mean feat you need to give him credit for that ”
“Honestly I am not enjoying at all right now, I don’t feelĀ any flow at all when I am playing I am consistently hesistating right now” said he added.
Gukesh being Gukesh was extremely humble after winning where he stated “Yes Beating Magnus is always special for sure. I think this also gives extra confidence in a sense that like, I just a horrible position from the opening, I just mixed something really bad, I just mix something really bad. It’s nice that like losing two positions in a row, I could win against Magnus” .
Carlsen also recently lost against Magnus at Norway Chess 2025, after a late blunder saw World Number 1 crumble to a loss also slam the table in anger and these two pair will meet again in two more games and these face off will be held in Blitz format.
Chess is growing vividly in India and credit should be given to all the stakeholders who have worked hard behind the scenes to make this entity extremely popular.
All India Chess Federation should be credited for bringing this robust policy where the best players from all over the state are accelerating from bottom tier to Top Tier, also we need to understand that system is pretty well laid down here where players could easily accelerate at the highest level.
Chennai Government and Federation and concerned stakeholders have made this sport popular.
All three formats of the game which include- Rapid, Blitz and Classical Chess are three formats where Indian players could accelerate at the highest level could make name for themselves.
Indian Chess ecosystem is extremely developed, and still there is a chance to make this sport reach towards other pedestal, overall the game is doing pretty well in the country and needs systematic talent to come up the ranks to make it even more famous.
