Guingamp forward Nathael Julan dies in car accident

Get French Football News, one of the standard French sports outlets broke the saddest news in the morning regarding the death of the player. The news suggested that the Guingamp forward Nathael Julan died in a car crash at the very tender age of 23 who plays in the second tier of French football league.

In its statement, the club mentioned;

“L’En Avant Guingamp is in mourning,”

“The club had the immense pain to learn this afternoon of the accidental death of its player Nathael Julan.

“On this tragic day, all members of the club join together to express their sad condolences to Nathael’s family.”

However, the club did not give out further details regarding the death of the player. Including the most trusted source, L’Equipe stated that the player died in a car crash who was returning from the training session.

Rasing through the ranks of Le Havre’s B team, the player made the professional debut in Ligue 2 four years ago. Promoted to the first team of Le Havre, the player went on to make 42 appearances of the club. He joined Guingamp in 2018 when the club was playing in the Ligue 1.

Before being loaned out into Valenciennes in the 2019 January transfer window, the player went on to make 10 top-flight appearances for Guingamp. However, the player returned back into the Guingamp side at the end of the season. By then, Guingamp was relegated from the French top flight. The player had started to break into the first team of Guingamp before the tragedy happened.
