Olympics started on 23rd July 2021 has been mixed result for India so far but the day 7 has been impressive for Indian contingents in terms of result is concerned as athletes from different sports categories like Archery, Badminton, Hockey and Boxing won their respective matches and marched ahead in the next round and took one step closer to winning medal.

Let’s start with Archery first as Indian ace archer Atanu Das surpassed the challenge of Chinese Taipei player YC Deng by 6-4 in the round of 1/32 followed by nail-biting competition against South Korea JH Oh by 6-5 will be playing his 1/8 elimination round clash on Saturday 31st July 7.18 am against Takaharu Furukawa.

Taking about Boxing Satish Kumar who competed in Heavy Weight Category defeated his Jamaican counterpart in the round of 16 and defeated his counterpart to take one step closer to Olympics medal.

Moving to our National Game Hockey it seems that Men’s national team Hockey is getting their mojo back after they won against Argentina by 3-1 will be next facing Host Japan but with two victories under their belt they have already made a place in Quarterfinal.

With the way, Men’s team is playing apart from the game against Australia it seems that they are heading in right direction.

Taking about Badminton PV Sindhu she outclassed Denmark  M Blichfeldt by 21-15 and 21-13 and will be next facing Yamaguchi in the quarterfinals round if she wins that she will be entering in semifinal round as Sindhu is touted as someone to win the Gold medal in Tokyo 2020 as Carolina Marin who was defending champion in Rio 2016 pulled out from this mega event due to injury.

PV Sindhu has been superb in the longest rallies in all three matches she has played so far in Olympics 2020 and all the matches has been one-sided competition where she hasn’t let any of her opponent to completely dominate her in any respective set which is a sign of Champion player.
