Football News : This player made a shocking revelation about Cristiano Ronaldo

In a recent and a shocking development, former Brazil national player Luiz Gustavo has made an unthinkable revelation about Al-Nassr team mate of Cristiano Ronaldo. His statement surfaces almost 2 months after Ronaldo’s multi-million move to Saudi Arabia’s Saudi Pro league.

He was expected to take the Saudi outfit by a storm but the total opposite has happened. He has scored only 1 goal until now this season and there is reportedly tension building within Al-Nassr dressing room and Luiz Gustavo thinks its because of the 37-year-old Portuguese record goal scorer.

Gustavo revealed that things have taken a different turn ever since Ronaldo arrived at Al-Nassr. His presence has reportedly made things a little difficult for other players. The former Bayern and Wolfsburg midfielder said that the type of quality Ronaldo possess is impeccable and cannot be reached by other players in the team.

“Certainly, the presence of Cristiano makes it difficult for us, as all teams seek to participate against him in the best possible way, and he gives motivation to everyone. His presence at Al-Nassr gives a great advantage to the group because we learn from him every day, given the great capabilities he possesses, both technically and physically.”

A similar narrative had risen in 2021 when Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford and there was indeed a wave of noise saying the Portuguese is keeping United from being at their best and that the team is better off without him. He scored 18 goals in 30 appearances on his return season but United did not win any silverware and failed to qualify for this season’s UCL.

And when the 2022/23 season began, Ronaldo appeared in an interview and blasted the Red Devils for a number of reasons. As a result, United released him from his duties at the club and it was all over for him.

Now at Al-Nassr he will hope to regain his form as he has only scored a single goal for the club and is yet to score from open play. On that, Luiz Gustavo said that – “Cristiano Ronaldo was created for challenges and he always succeeds in them. And everyone here is waiting for what he will present. He has already scored his first goal and he, therefore, got rid of the pressure.”

He signed a 2-year deal and recently Al-Nassr head coach disclosed that Ronaldo will not be hanging his boots at Middle east as he will return to the European circuit before calling it quits.
