Few days back Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba accused his older brother, Mathias Pogba and several close friends on speculation to play a part in the blackmail and demanding money from French star and with the latest report, Police on Wednesday have arrested Mathias Pogba.
Pogba’s blood brother, Mathias Pogba, along with four other accused have been taken into police custody by Paris Police after being mobilized for interrogate over allegations on taking part as a group which attempted to rob and demanded around €13 million from Paul Pogba.
With the latest reports by French newspaper Le Monde, Paul’s older brother, Mathias Pogba hand over himself to Police on Wednesday and was brought into custody for more interrogation.

Several sources have disclosed that Juventus superstar have already given over €100,000 after being held at a gunpoint at his own house in Roissy-en-Brie, Paris.
Paul Pogba also told the authorities that he was asked to pay worth €1m per year as “Protection Money” to get protection from local gangs from the age of 16 when Pogba become a professional footballer.
French international, Pogba attempted to withdraw 13 million from his account but later the bank authorities declined his request. Although, Pogba have already paid £85,000 to the local gang but when his brother, Mathias and gang members continued to torture Pogba for more money which made him filed a criminal complaint against them.
With news broke into the media, Earlier this month French attorney started a legal investigation following the Paul Pogba’s allegation against the robbers.
A statement from French attorney:
“Based on the findings of the preliminary investigation, the Paris prosecutor’s office launched a judicial investigation today relating to allegations against persons unknown, including blackmail by an armed gang, kidnapping or kidnapping with a release before the seventh day to prepare or facilitate the commission of a crime or an offence, and membership of a criminal conspiracy”
However, Paul Pogba’s older brother, Mathias have accused his brother Paul of lying to police authorities.
‘All of Paul’s statements, from the hearing at the start of August – before my videos – to the response from his lawyers and the responses, from his supporters, are only intended to drag my name through the mud,’ Mathias Pogba said in a TikTok video in August.
‘So I’m asking myself – why rush to affirm that what I had to say concerned just witchcraft?
‘Because it would be difficult to talk about the so-called blackmail in this case? So wouldn’t it be better to hammer home that the big brother is just a jealous, money-grabbing person, ready to do anything to discredit before he speaks? Isn’t that what all false accounts in my name are all about? No, we don’t accept conspiracies here.’
