More than five months have passed since the popular BR title, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), removed Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) from all virtual stores. On the other hand, the global variant of the title, PUBG Mobile has been receiving plenty of updates over the last few months. Hence, the queries from the Indian community are mounting. We are approaching the new year in a few days and fans are still in the place where they were a few months back, looking for an Unban date on the internet.

With the title currently not being available, BGMI did not receive any updates over the mentioned period. However, the game server is still online with the same old features. Meanwhile, its global variant, PUBG Mobile is going through a completely different path, experiencing updates constantly. The community is yet to receive any clarification on the possible unban, which is ultimately leading them to constant disappointments on various social media platforms.

 

Several streamers are claiming that the game would be back before the 15^th of January.

The global variant of BGMI, PUBG Mobile expects its 2.4 updates to begin in the next month. However, the beta version of the same is already available to selected users.  Hence, many users have started speculating whether the 2.4 Update would be made available for the Indian version or not. However, the chance is very less as the latest reports suggest that the game would not arrive before February 2023.

The title has gone through two maintenance breaks in December 2022. If everything goes well, fans might be able to get an official update from Krafton’s side regarding the status of BGMI very soon. So, as of now, they can do nothing but wait for the official clarification.
