English Premier League : Find out this staggering Manchester United record which is alive since 1984!

English Premier League’s most successful club Manchester United are seemingly back on track and their bad days are well behind them. The team has underwent a massive transformation since Dutchman Erik Ten Hag took over the reigns from Ajax.

The 53-year-old took some harsh decision on the eye after opting to not have Cristiano Ronaldo in the team but that decision proved to be fruitful in the end. He also made some really influential signings for the Red Devils. Brought Casemiro, Anthony, Christian Eriksen in the summers and also singed Marcel Sabitzer from Bayern Munich during the winter transfer window.

The 13-time PL champions after a disastrous last season has regained their form and shape as they are currently 3rd in the league table with 42 points to their name. A win against Leeds United tomorrow will take the Red Devils to the same points as reigning champions Manchester City.

But let’s put all that aside for now because what i’m going to reveal is something even i was shocked to find out. The Red Devils 6 years before the revamped Premier League was launched. It says that since the 1984 season, Manchester United have never lost a single Premier League game at home when they are leading at the first 45 minutes.

Since 1984, United have played 309 games, won 286 matches and 23 draws with no defeat. At first it sounds a bit odd but believe it or not, they have this record. The club under the new manager will hope to bring their glory days back and they have a chance of landing a trophy for the first time since 2017 when they take on Newcastle United at Wembley on Carabao Cup final.

Are Manchester United the greatest English club ever?
