A 21-year-old left-handed opener from a small town in Uttar Pradesh, Yashasvi Jaiswal, won the award for the emerging player of the season. He scored 625 runs this IPL season at an average of 48.08 in just 14 innings.

Even though he scored a century this season, his best innings was when he scored 98* in just 47 balls against the Kolkata Knight Riders and just took on the bowling attack to cleaners. He played an absolutely mad inning that day and also made the record for the fastest fifty in IPL.

Below is the list of the top 5 other emerging players who stood out for their teams and have a bright future ahead of them.
