Edwin Van der Sar on how he wants Manchester United season to end

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin Van Der Sar wants the Reds season to end with a qualification in a Champions League as well as glory in the FA cup.

United are currently training at Carrington complex and they are steeping at the right intensity ahead of their top-flight return on Friday Night.

Prior when regular football season was suspended, United was 11 games unbeaten and was behind Chelsea with a close margin of 3 points.

The best part is that they currently occupy the final Champions League place in the Premier League. However, Van der Sar believes they need to find some good start in the first few games to build the momentum.

As the Dutchman said, “The first thing to say is that I hope United get off to a good start when the matches start again,”.

He also added that “ “I think that will be crucial for any team who wants to be successful in the final part of the season – starting well.

He concluded by saying that “That is crucial to building momentum. This is a scenario that no team has ever been in before though, so it will be interesting to see how it affects things.”.

There is great news for all Football fans as Premier League returning this month. FA cup will return with Norway heading to Norwich in the last eight on June 27th.

And Van Der Sar only wants to see his club happy after they lift the trophy. It will not be a cakewalk for them but if they find their rhythm back they will be a tough team to beat.
