India’s two-time Olympic medallist, PV Sindhu, emerged victorious over Thailand’s Supanida Katethong, securing her spot in the semifinals of the BWF Denmark Open 2023. The nail-biting match took place at the Jyske Bank Arena in Odense on Friday, where Sindhu showcased her incredible skills to win in straight games with a scoreline of 21-19, 21-12.

PV Sindhu’s journey in the Denmark Open now sees her pitted against the formidable Carolina Marin of Spain, who managed to overcome the challenge posed by Tai Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei in a thrilling three-game encounter, ending with scores of 19-21, 21-15, 21-18.
